Dukan Diet = High Protein

The famous Dukan diet is all about high protein foods. These include fish, lean meat, beef, etc… It is known that protein foods help decrease weight because a small amount can keep you full longer than carbohydrates and fats. This is exactly what the Dukan diet is targeting. The Dukan diet plan starts off with having only proteins, but eventually you will be able to eat vegetables, breads and cheeses in the latter phases.

To see results you must drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, eat until you are full at mealtimes and skip snacking. For breakfast you must have grapefruit get, lunch you salad another grapefruit and a source of protein, such as baked chicken.  Dinner you get another grapefruit, salad or a vegetable and another source of protein such as fish.  Before bed drink a glass of tomato juice or skim milk.  You follow the diet for 12 days straight, take 2 days off then repeat for 2 and ½ months.  This diet keeps you full due to the amounts of protein eaten throughout the day and reduces the desire for sweets allowing your body to shed pounds.

The Metabolism diet is high in protein and vegetables.  For 7 days you get to have tea or coffee for breakfast.  Lunch you eat a serving to two servings of vegetables and a source of protein, such as one to two boiled eggs.  At dinner you get anywhere from 10 to 16 ounces of beef ham or a few eggs and two servings of vegetables.  This diet helps keep you full throughout the day due to the high amounts of protein.  You will find yourself full longer and not looking for fatty foods.  This diet majorly boosts the metabolism and helps shed pounds faster.
